Glass Bottom Boat, The (DVD)
Doris Day stars as the loveliest would-be spy ever to be reeled in by a bunch of bumbling Cold Warriors in the romantic comedy The Glass Bottom Boat. While fishing, rocket scientist and high-tech CEO Bruce Templeton (Rod Taylor) snags Jennifer Nelson's (Day) mermaid costume, leaving her in an embarrassing situation as her father's tourist boat sails above. Then, when Nelson accepts a public relations position with Templeton's company, he finds himself attracted to her--even as the comically inept security experts (Dom DeLuise and Paul Lynde) suspect her of spying. But Nelson gets the last of many laughs by playing the role of spy to snare both the real espionage agent and Templeton's heart.
